Lo aa gayi sabko lubhane Chuntani...!

We live in a country which is obsessed with the monster called election. Almost every year, we are thrown into the atmosphere of 'Lubhavani' election. One or the other election comes by and the gangs of bastardly robbers become active to seduce people to turn as active voters even though they are unable to provide them with water. Election is good for the health of democracy but now I feel it is better for the health of politicians. Elections are expensive and the outcome of it is even more expensive as the elected members mostly indulge themselves in making money by hook or crook without caring for national interest.
In the glittering lights of Navratri, and over night running garbas, we are thrown once again into dirt of election. 'Sthanik swaraj' election is on the trot and imminent. The very unknown and less visible faces of politicians have automatically turned visible and more importantly caring. They think and reason for the betterment of people (secretly theirs). They have developed interest for people's problems overnight. These vote mongers had sidelined people when they were on the throne but now they have selfishly remembered us. How pathetic!
Whenever there is an election, our country loses a lot of wealth and human hours in it. And this 'Sthanik swaraj' election is almost irrelevant according to me. I mean why should we spend a lot of our wealth after electing them? What good has 'Sthanik swaraj' election done for the nation. When almost before 35 years it was implemented, its aim was to decentralise the governance and to provide opportunity to administer from the rout level to the people thus by distributing fruits of democracy among people of India. But the hidden agenda of it is to get fruits for politicians from the root level so that they can have grip over money vending machines from that level. And by that they can even solace and calm down the ever growing hunger of their root level workers 'karyakars'. This election can be replaced by any other powerful system that can work for the betterment of society. People of almost no use have entered politics; they have no education, no knowledge of working style, no zest to solve basic problems, no care for people's troubled life, no ideology, no clear vision; they only know one thing and that is how to corrupt the system to run their malpractice.
Can't we have people who are learned and are ready to work for betterment of society? but wait where are they? and if they are, would they be elected? would they even get tickets from parties? So what I suggest is to abort this 'Sthanik swaraj' election and put a system that is run by qualified and learned officers. Some would say, "won't they do corruption?" Yes, and if they do, there can be a vigilance which would look into that issue. And for that matter, the amount of corruption will be much less than the work done in comparison to these vote mongers.
These elections will cost us millions and also spoil human hours which can be utilised in the development works. After all what have we got? dirty roads, overflowing gutters, unclean and unhygienic conditions and what not? Few days back International media complained of filthy and unlivable Commonwealth Games villages and our media took it on when Lalit Bhanot- secretary of the OC said, "it is clean and hygienic for us. What is hygienic and clean for us may not be so for them. Our standards sre different." I think he was right because we are habituated to live in such pathetic conditions. Our news makers must visit the rural and semi urban areas where people are living in such situations thanks to our politics war heads. they will promise big things for people and work out big deals for themselves. It's time for them to entice and enchant people by big promises.
That is why I say, "Lo Aa Gayi Sabko Lubhane Chuntani !!!"
Can there be any other solution? Can't we get rid of this dirty election system? Let's have debates, discussions and forums over it.
Let's speak up... Do you dare say anything???
Seriously agonised...

A good outburst of your love for nation and the citizen. There should be some strict rules / system for ll elections. There must be a perfect calendar for elections.
Parliamentary elections must held at every five year. ( i know it is held at every five years) Suppose the ruling party loses majority, the President should be in charge, but elections must be a scheduled time. Such system can be applied at all elections.
